The illustrative design is an examination of pond life at micro and macro scales as a habitat for mutually supporting natural systems. When observed in detail water patterns take on the appearance of interconnected networks, continuing an illustrative investigation into recurring patterns within the natural world as a visual metaphor for community and interaction.
